Who we are
Chiles Group is a dynamic enterprise with a diverse portfolio encompassing owned and invested ventures across various industries. At our core is Gamble Creek Farms, which exemplifies our commitment to sustainable practices.
Chiles Group also engages in real estate and strategic investments through entities like Gamble Creek Farms and Shogun Farms, supporting ventures ranging from hospitality to food development. Unified by a responsible approach to sustainability, the group's values prioritize thoughtful stewardship and innovation across all areas of investment.
Formerly Chiles Hospitality, it included a family of three waterfront restaurants, an in-house bakery, and an events business. As of August 1, 2024, those assets were sold.
Our Mission, Vision, and Values
-
To be a leader in sustainable farming innovation and sharing our experience with the world.
-
Our vision is to create and sustain a healthier community.
What we achieve together has far greater impact than what we achieve alone.
We are a community of individuals, where we embrace each others' differences while uniting around a vision to provide good food, great service, and memorable experiences day after day. Team work, pitching in, and helping a colleague in need allow our community to thrive.
In this spirit, we seek to nurture our broader community as we have for 40 years, and do so by:
1) Being vocal on issues that affect our community and its people
2) Support employees and their families on their personal and professional journeys
3) Protect our environment for the enjoyment of future generations
-
Our values include:
Providing one-of-a-kind ecologically responsible, ethically sourced food with the freshest ingredients from local growers including our own Gamble Creek Farm.
Supporting the Gulf Shellfish Institute, START, and local public schools, among many others.
Creating awareness of preserving and maintaining our coastal waterways and soil for the enjoyment of future generations.

OUR BRANDS
Chiles Group purchased Gamble Creek Farms in 2021 with a vision to bring local produce to restaurants and residents. However, founder Ed Chiles also wanted to process waste and create super-nutritious soil for all that it would grow. The 26-acre farm has a full market, serving local grocery products, soups, salads, and sandwiches every day.
